It Happened at BUDMA 2007

Another event of BUDMA International Construction Fair was held in Pozna? on January 23 ? 26, 2007.

New Developments and Interesting Products

Press-Glas focuses on so-called Special Glass

This year, BUDMA exhibitors presented:
  • A new method of testing tempered glass, the so-called Heat Soak Test, or HST.
  • Special single bent tempered pre-drilled panes held in place by a system of metal fitting points, with polished edge finish and offset print. Bent wave-form panes fitted to tempered glass ribs provide a light, attractive screen while offset print pattern creates a distinct sense of privacy in the booth.
  • Double glazed bent tempered units for mounting in structural glazing systems with metal fitting points. Double glazed units are very high quality products. Thanks to a unique method applied by Press-Glas, bent double glazed units with fittings mounted in one pre-drilled pane are highly air-tight.
  • Single tempered offset print panes. A wide variety of offset print patterns and colors to meet the most discriminating customer?s requirements. Custom-made patterns, including pictures and graphic art, allow for unique artistic compositions.

Crystal Profile Award

The Company got a big surprise at BUDMA: Press-Glas won two Crystal Profile 2006 Awards granted by the Award Chapter, which includes representatives of window, door, and façade manufacturers, suppliers of subsystems and machinery.

Press-Glas would like to express our gratitude to all the companies for awarding us this special distinction in two categories: Technology Leap and Entrepreneurship, and Stable and Sustained Growth. We are also grateful to have won second place in the Innovation category. We were able to earn these distinctions thanks to our determination to meet the most demanding expectations of our customers.
